There are currently 3 types of braziers added by Mob Repellent, each one has its own characteristics. (Those characteristics can be changed with the config!)
Wooden Brazier
The first tier of Braziers is the Wooden Brazier.
Characteristics
The Wooden Brazier is the easiest to get and thus is the weakest.
When ignited, this Brazier prevents monsters from spawning in a spherical radius of 20 Blocks.
But be careful as this Brazier requires maintenance! After successfully preventing a monster from spawning, there is a one in 256 chance that the Brazier will extinguish, requiring you to ignite it again.
Crafting
You can craft this Brazier using 6 Sticks, 1 Wooden Slab (any type), 1 Block of Coal and 1 Amethyst Shard.
Interactions
You can ignite this brazier by right clicking it with a Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge.
You can extinguish this brazier by right clicking it with a Water Bucket.
Stone Brazier
The middle tier of Braziers is the Stone Brazier.
Characteristics
The Stone Brazier is more efficient but harder to get.
When ignited, this Brazier prevents monsters from spawning in a spherical radius of 40 Blocks.
But be careful as this Brazier requires maintenance! After successfully preventing a monster from spawning, there is a one in 1024 chance that the Brazier will extinguish, requiring you to ignite it again.
Crafting
You can craft this Brazier using 3 Smooth Stone Slabs, 4 Cobblestone, 1 Block of Coal and 1 Heart of the Sea.
Interactions
You can ignite this brazier by right clicking it with a Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge.
You can extinguish this brazier by right clicking it with a Water Bucket.
Terracotta Brazier
The highest tier of Braziers is the Terracotta Brazier.
Characteristics
The Terracotta Brazier is the most efficient but also the hardest to get.
When ignited, this Brazier prevents monsters from spawning in a spherical radius of 60 Blocks.
Crafting
You can craft this Brazier using 1 Block of Coal, 1 Echo Shard and 5 Terracotta (any color).
Interactions
You can ignite this brazier by right clicking it with a Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge.
You can extinguish this brazier by right clicking it with a Water Bucket.
